The Teacher by Freida McFadden

The TeacherThe Teacher by Freida McFadden
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Giving this a 3.5. Definitely not my favorite Freida book but at the same time, I read it in a few hours because I couldn't put it down. The married couple this story centers around are both selfish as*holes but it's interesting to see what they'll do next. I can absolutely relate to Eve's shoe obsession and now I'm wondering if I should be concerned. I guess I don't try to steal them though so I'm probably ok, right? Shoulder shrug. Meanwhile, her husband Nate comes off as the guy who peaked in freshman year of college in English Comp. Now he's on the road to an uphill battle with hair loss and ED-it's only a matter of time, trust me. The ending had so many twists that I felt like I had whiplash and I didn't see 75% of them coming.
Was I enthralled and entertained for the majority of the book? Yes.
Did I feel pissed off at the end? I mean...yeah. At the same time, Freida killed it with the writing.

The married MCs are apparently both cheating pedos? Ok, wtf? Can't you shock me with something else? Package the book with some nipple clamps instead. Christ.
