Her Soul To Take (Souls Trilogy #1) by Harley Laroux
This book was fucked up and also amazing. If you like dark romance and fantasy, you’ll love this.
Bespoke and Bespelled (Movie Magic #1) by Karen Healey
You know that we love a good witchy read around here and this book is So. Freaking. Cute. Marnie is a "Stitch Witch" meaning that her magic is in fabric.
The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna
I literally sped through this book and almost forgot that I read it! I wrote a review on my phone in notes and dove into a new book immediately, forgetting to post a review! Anyways, here's what I wrote on 12/5/2023.
Romance Rules for Werewolves by Linsey Hall
My third visit to Charming Cove was a delight, as usual. Linsey Hall is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. Charming Cove gives very Hallmark movie, Halloweentown, dash of spice vibes. If you love witchy books like I do, do not miss this book series!
The Ex Hex by Erin Sterling
This book has been on my book shelf for like 2 months and I'm so excited to have finally cracked it open! This book lands us in a charming mountain town in Georgia that is giving off Halloweentown/Gilmore Girls/Good Witch/Hogwarts vibes.
How To Fake Date A Vampire by Linsey Hall
At last, we return to Charming Cove. Once again, I absolutely loved this book. Just as great as the first! The little town and it's characters are, in fact, charming.
In Charm's Way by Lana Harper
Ok, so I know that this book took me FOREVER to read. I want you to know, it's not any issue with the book. I've just had a ton of stuff going on! Went on vacation and I've been reorganizing the whole house, making room for new furniture.
The Book of Magic by Alice Hoffman - Book #2 in the Practical Magic Series
I think that it's pretty obvious that I had a hard time getting into this book, considering how long it took me to post this. I felt that once again, it started very slow. Kylie and Antonia are grown up and VINCENT returns!
Fall TBR
I'm currently finishing up the last book of the Practical Magic Series, The Book of Magic by Alice Hoffman (I'm having a hard time getting into it). Then I'm finishing Book 4 in the witches of Thistle Grove series: In Charm's Way by Lana Harper, which I forced myself to stop reading until I can finish The Book of Magic.
Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman - Book #1 in the Practical Magic Series
I'm down to one book left in this series, so I've been very excited to start it. If you've been reading along with me, you know that I decided to read this series in timeline order rather than the order they were released.
Back In A Spell by Lana Harper
Thistle Grove is starting to feel a lot like Stars Hollow and I'm here for it. I think this might be my favorite book in this series so far. Our story's heroine in book #3 is a Blackmoore, the family who's been painted as a villain/adversary in the first two books.
The Rules of Magic by Alice Hoffman - Book 0.2 in the Practical Magic series
I dug right into this book, which explores the life story of "The Aunts" in the Practical Magic movie. It feels like an exceptional prequel, exactly what you'd like. Familiar but not too familiar. I loved the element of the brother, a male Owens,
