The Good:
* Call me crazy but I guess that I enjoyed the shock factor of this spicy little book. I thought that I had read everything in a dark romance and let me tell you, I was seriously wrong.
* This felt more like a horror romance than a dark romance to me. If you like horror/scary stuff, there’s a good chance that you’ll enjoy this storyline. If you like movies like Saw, that increases the likelihood that you’ll enjoy this.
The Meh:
* I didn’t really connect with either character. But that might be because they’re both complete psychopaths.
* Some of the jaw dropping stuff that happens is pretty disgusting. As I mentioned previously, check the trigger warnings before reading. I’m guessing that the list is massive.
Bottom Line:
Do you have zero triggers? Ok, feel free to proceed. That being said, you’re in for a WILD ride with this one. This story starts out crazy and it keeps getting crazier. The love story is kind of cute in a super demented/psychotic way. I’m going to warn you, this is totally fucking unhinged. Will you be entertained? Yes. Will you say “What the fuck?” I’d be concerned if you didn’t. I gave my husband a recap and we had good chuckle about it together. Maybe we watch too much horror and we’re demented though.
