Stuck with You (The STEMinist Novellas #2) by Ali Hazelwood
This is the first Ali story that I felt very meh about. The characters weren't well developed, weren't really likable, and the ending felt a little bit like someone slapped a sticker on it that said "done".
Under One Roof (The STEMinist Novellas #1) by Ali Hazelwood
I read some goodreads reviews before I started this novella and I truly don't understand the hate. Ali Hazelwood has me in a complete chokehold.
Love On the Brain by Ali Hazelwood
I know, I know, I know. Another Ali Hazelwood novel. My seasonal depression is currently making all of my reading choices, give me a break. So, this go round we've got a neuroscientist named Bee who has purple hair and piercings, is obsessed with Marie Curie and has a career that's teetering between failure and success.
Love, Theoretically by Ali Hazelwood
What can I say, my last book may have gotten my hooked on Ali Hazelwood. This book is a whole mess of entanglements and I adore it. Elsie is an adjunct professor and a theoretical physicist. She is also a chronic people pleaser who tends to morph herself into whatever she thinks that whoever she’s talking to wants her to be.
The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood
This is my first Ali Hazelwood book and I loved it! Let me say, my seasonal depression needed this! The characters are so well thought out and the cringey moments are so cringe. It was delightfully funny, had just the right amount of steaminess imo, and I absolutely loved the storyline.
The Last Phone Booth In Manhattan by Beth Merlin and Danielle Modafferi
This book is an absolute gem. This book begins like a happy ending to a Hallmark Christmas movie and and the life of our MC Avery Lawrence takes a steep turn into nowhereland. She manages to go from riches to rags in a matter of a day.
The Housemaid by Freida McFadden
I started this book today and I finished this book today. What a page turner! The opening hooks you immediately and I could not wait to find out what happened. What a WILD freaking ride this book is.
The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna
I literally sped through this book and almost forgot that I read it! I wrote a review on my phone in notes and dove into a new book immediately, forgetting to post a review! Anyways, here's what I wrote on 12/5/2023.
Romance Rules for Werewolves by Linsey Hall
My third visit to Charming Cove was a delight, as usual. Linsey Hall is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. Charming Cove gives very Hallmark movie, Halloweentown, dash of spice vibes. If you love witchy books like I do, do not miss this book series!
The Woman In Me by Britney Spears
Get out the cream and sugar because this book has some TEA. Brit dishes about many of her past relationships and touches on some of her more famous moments in the media.
The Kiss Curse by Erin Sterling
We're back in Graves Glen for the sequel to The Ex Hex and this time around we hear all about Vivi's cousin Gwyn, who was quite a prevalent character in the first book. Something I really liked about the way that this book was written is that Vivi and Rhys are still pretty prevalent characters entwined into Gwyn's story.
The Ex Hex by Erin Sterling
This book has been on my book shelf for like 2 months and I'm so excited to have finally cracked it open! This book lands us in a charming mountain town in Georgia that is giving off Halloweentown/Gilmore Girls/Good Witch/Hogwarts vibes.
